Photo Rickey Geissler, President
Rick was the visionary behind East Coast Erosion Blankets, LLC. Rick started in the green industry forty years ago as a deciduous tree grower with his parents. After graduating from Penn State, he expanded the nursery and began landscaping residentially and commercially, which he continues today. Rick is very active in the daily operation of the both businesses. He is an active member of the International Erosion Control Association and the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association. Rick has three grown daughters and two grandsons. He enjoys hunting, biking, gardening, grilling and taking hikes through his farms. rickey@eastcoasterosion.com
Photo John G. Smith, Chief Financial Officer
John’s experience with financial responsibility, personnel, and organizational skills has enabled him to adapt to the many challenges of the erosion industry. His past experiences include ten years in Golf course management and over thirteen years in the construction industry. John has also served on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association and the Berks County Conservation District, and currently holds the position of President for the Board of Directors for six Homeowner Associations. In addition, John serves as the Vice President for the Forino Company, a privately held residential Home Builder. He is an active member of the International Erosion Control Association. Tony is founder and President of Forino Company, which is honored as number 204 of the top United States Builders for 2008. His 38 years of experience in business and personnel management has provided a basis for the East Coast Erosion Blankets, LLC’s current values. Tony loves work but most of all loves spending time with wife, Sandy, three grown daughters and three grandchildren. tony@eastcoasterosion.com
Photo Diane Hitt, General Manager
Diane has been with East Coast Erosion Blankets, LLC since the company’s inception. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Albright University in Business Management. She has over 18 years experience in all areas of manufacturing including management, sales, operations, accounting, and customer service. Diane currently serves as the liaison with the Erosion Control Technology Council and International Erosion Control Association. She has held various Board of Director positions on several community not-for-profit organizations. She has two young boys. diane@eastcoasterosion.com
Photo John T. Ravert CPESC, Director of Technical Services
John graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He was an erosion and sediment pollution control technician with the Pennsylvania Berks County Conservation District for nine years and served as the District manager for an additional twelve years. While managing the Conservation District, he administrated the Pennsylvania DEP delegated Erosion & Sediment Control and NPDES programs in Berks County. He is a NICET certified Erosion and Sediment Control engineering technician. He is an active member of the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the International Erosion Control Association, and sits on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Erosion Control magazine. jravert@eastcoasterosion.com
Photo Connie Lutz, Customer Care Specialist and Logistics Coordinator
Connie has been serving in the customer service field for over 36 years. She studied Business Administration at the American School of Banking. Connie has been with the company for over 3 years, and oversees in the coordination of all domestic and international logistics. She has two sons and 7 grandchildren, who along with the animals on her whitetail deer farm keep her very busy. connie@eastcoasterosion.com

Diane Middlecamp, Receptionist and Bookkeeper
Diane has been with East Coast Erosion Blankets, LLC for over 4 years. She has been able to provide the company with over thirty-five year’s experience in bookkeeping and customer service.
