Percussion Driven Earth Anchors (PDEA's) Anchors

Percussion Driven Earth Anchors (PDEA’s) are recommended for use with a high performance Turf Reinforcement Mat (TRM) in high flow installations, deep-cut channels, or extreme slopes. There are two common types of anchors which use either a self-locking ferrule or a copper ferrule. The composition of the anchor includes a braided steel cable with a foot on the lower end which turned 90 degrees upon installation that locks the anchor. The upper end of the anchor is a washer-like disk used to disburse the pressure of the locking mechanism once the anchor is pulled tight against the surface. East Coast Erosion Control offers a variety of anchors. More importantly, we offer staff engineers to review your project and recommend the ideal anchor for your application.”
